The mission for Jan Pate Ministries is to enlighten and motivate those with whom we come into contact, to strive for a spirit of excellence. Notwithstanding the fact that we all come to God in a fallen state yet through redemption by his blood, and baptism into His Spirit, we are empowered to achieve excellence of spirit, mind and body. QUEST FOR WHOLENESS was the phrase that was coined in order to give a definition to as well as a visual concept to the believer as to how we can develop our negative experiences, attributes and behaviors into something productive and positive in our lives. Also, we can ascend to heights beyond our greatest dreams when we allow the Holy Spirit to impregnate the gifts that God has placed within every person--gifts God can use in each person carrying out their purpose and His Will for them.

The mission for First Church on the Hill is to go out and make disciples of everyone we meet by way of leading them into an intimate relationship with the Lord our God.
